My Family Weekend

i can not believe i have lived in oregon for 5 years now and have never until yesterday been to silver falls... WOW! beautiful... i plan to go back this next sunday without the kid in tow to do the whole trek... i will be tuckered out for sure but can not wait to photograph to my hearts content...

My first & second WEDDINGS ever!

Here are sneak peaks at my first ever wedding... i traveled to cali to shoot this lovely couple... T&D are great people... T is actually a friends relative and it was a joy to be a part of their happy day... we were all very grateful for nice weather... i was so worried about the cali heat... but it wasnt there...










here we have my lovely coworker and her sweet other half... K and i started a day apart at my "normal" job and since that day we knew i was shooting her wedding... at the time i thought her wedding would be my first... but the trip to cali ended up being the first... but only by 2 1/2 weeks... i was a busy girl... anyway... the wedding was located at the Gentle House at the WOU campus... what a beautiful place for any party... i just loved all the green everywhere...

MY LAPTOP IS FIXED!

and boy does it feel good to think about being productive... and keeping up on updating this site as well as my flash site... i hope to do better at least... now i have no excuse... right? i mean excuses are easy to come by... but i really hope to prove to myself and everyone that believe in me that I CAN do this...

been busy and procrastinating updating everything...

so... i am happy to announce that things business wise have been going great...

i just... literally... just finished a shoot of a super lovely lady... we did photos of her and her husbands guitar... i know he will be pleased... they are a suprise birthday gift... we had to really work the schedule so he wouldnt see the guitar missing from the wall! lol!

shot an awesome family that loved their photographs... they even purchased a 24x36... and said "see you next year" they were so much fun to shoot and i hope to watch their girls grow... i cant even say how awesome they were to work for...

also just got to shoot 3 ladies who have been best friends for years... they were so much fun as we were all very much alike... i could hang out with these ladies they were a blast... one of them moved away and these were the farewell shots... they loved their images... and had trouble narrowing it down... they got some sheets and 2 12x24 collages... i loved the collage!

i have my very first wedding scheduled for july 25th (ah... just around the corner) the wedding is of a relative in california... so i get to go home for a short while and visit too... then i have another wedding august 13th for my coworker and her very sweet fiance... their engagement shots turned out fabulous... they are so in love that there was no way to mess up the shots... i think we could have shot a little longer but we all started itching and my eyes were watering and starting to swell due to allergies... so we called it quits after about 45 minutes but got many great photos...

i have 2 newborns that i get to shoot in the next week (crossing fingers) its nice knowing multiple pregnant ladies... my neighbor across the street is due in a few weeks with twins... so i hope to snag that as well...

oh ya... and i have some product photography to shoot as well... such cute little jewlery... check out her etsy store... (photos on site are not mine... not yet)

wow am i sooo behind...

so sorry i have not been on in so long... i am having major computer issues... finally i am up and running but i am so behind trying to catch up on some shoots and my website and life in general... my laptop crashed (major blue screen of death) lots my fonts... actions... textures...

just been hunting everything down... really need to update my website (still shows my valentine special OMG lol!) shorty i will have a new shoot to post on here... got to meet an awesome family...

TATTOOS!

yep i love them... i have a pretty good collection of my own... well... i am working with a friend of mine... he is a super talented artist... not just super talented with a tattoo gun but will many different mediums... i will be working with chad "willy" williams to help build his portfolio... i am offering a free 5x7 when you get tattooed by "willy" and then photographed by me... we are working to make his tattoo portfolio look different and stand out among his "competition"

anywho... i made this today for him... this is all his artwork... told you he is amazing...

we got snow...

so these pictures are from our snow in december... being that i am a cali girl this was really awesome to have out my front door... days like this make me glad i moved to oregon... i just wish the snow was a little more frequent... although most my friends would yell at me if they knew this... well to my happy surprise we had snow this morning... not lots but enough... not enough to go out and take pictures but it reminded me that i should show these off... enjoy...
